Become an Independent surfer catch Green, unbroken waves by yourself

You already can catch white water waves. And now want to progress and Learn to Surf Green Waves, this Surf Camp is designed for those of you that have passed our level beginner course or can catch and ride a white water waves on your own. The Surf Camp will focus on getting to the outside (lineup) in waist high waves and to ride the waves both right and left.

Main focal points of the surf course:

  • Maneuvers to reach the line-up, do good duck-diving and climbing back up. Good use of the existing currents

  • Take off: Catching waves before they break. Drops with the weight forward.

  • Peak location: Correct positioning in the surf.

  • Tugs/speed: coordinated flexion/extension movements to accelerate.

  • Reading waves: Going all the time for the right part of the wave looking for the steepest part.

  • Knowledge and application of the priority rules in the peak.

  • Technical language about skills or surfing maneuvers.

We’ll teach you to catch green waves and ride the face of the wave instead of going straight in the white water. This means that you’ll be out in what’s called the lineup, and there are a lot of written and unwritten rules you need to know about this area. We’ll go through this and much more, and focus on you becoming a better surfer and having a great time while doing it.

We’ll be Surfing waist high green waves, and catch them just when they’re about to break. Every day the instructor will take you to the surf spot that is best suited to catch as many green waves as possible.
